Short term training for Phaco/SICS
- 1 Week to 15 days
- Once or twice a week for local Ophthalmologist
- Customized as per req. of trainee
- No of surgeries – approximately 10 Nos
- Course Fees 50K
- Extra Surgeries: 5K per surgery
Eligibility Criteria
The goal is to target the Ophthalmologists who have recently completed MS/DO/DNB & want surgical exposure.
Requirement for trainee before joining
- Good skills in eye handling under microscope
- Experience in ECCE for SICS & Experiences in SICS & capsulorhexis for Phaco training
- Knowledge of Phacodynamics Recommended to read the book Phacodynamics by Barry Seibel.
- Observe many videos & seminars on phacoemulsifcation
