PROGRAM OVERVIEW

This course is recognized and affiliated by the The TN Dr. MGR Medical University and is offered by Chennai Dental Research Foundation (CDRF), an initiative of Rajan Dental, which has rich legacy and is known for highest standards , quality and trust.

This fellowship programme has faculty who are accomplished and eminent in Dentistry. It is taught by internationally acclaimed faculty using the latest infrastructure and technology. The course duration is 1 year, full-time with academic and clinical hands-on sessions.

Scholarships are available for meritorious applicants through RAJAN SCHOLARSHIP.

Accomplished Faculty - The Course is designed and headed by Dr. Gunaseelan Rajan & B Praveen, Dr. Gunaseelan is an eminent surgeon and also holds top positions in various dental councils in India and abroad. The founder, late B.P. Rajan was the President, Dental Council of India.

Best-in-class infrastructure - The institute has got the entire latest infrastructure and is fitted with top-of-the-line dental equipment such as Cone Beam CT Scans and hard tissue lasers, etc.

Hands-on-training - The course has both academic and clinical sessions and offers hands-on training on surgical and prosthetic treatment procedures.

Merit Scholarship - We offer scholarship to meritorious candidates which ranges from INR 50,000 to INR 1,00,000. COURSE DURATION

1 year full time Programme – 5 days/week, 4 hours class room sessions & 4 hours clinical sessions.

CDRF and Rajan Dental, Chennai offer a One year full time PG Fellowship program in Dental Implantology, affiliated by The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R Medical University.

This one year course provides dentists extensive training with a University certified fellowship diploma in Dental Implantology.

Towards identifying and encouraging meritorious candidates, RAJAN SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME has been introduced for the Fellowship programme. Scholarship ranging between Rs.50,000- Rs.1,00,000 will be given for 3 eligible candidates. Flexible payment options towards the Fellowship course fee available

The selection of candidates for the scholarship is based on an Online Exam and the candidate’s earlier academic credentials.

The Online Exam is to be conducted on November 20th (Sunday), 2016 from 10.00am -11.00am

Online Exam Instructions:

Online Exam date: November 20th Sunday between 10.00am-11.00am

1. The registration and payment process for the online exam is simple and user friendly. The registration fee for the online exam is Rs.950 (Rs. Nine hundred and fifty only)
2. The mode of payment for registration will be only through online payment system.
3. We assume that the candidate is familiar in using computers and internet browsers.
4. There are no exam centers, the candidates can take up the exam in their personal computer with a good internet connection. (Kindly use wired internet connection and avoid Hotspot, Mobile 3g/4g connections).
5. By registering, each candidate will receive a unique username id and password, through which they can log in and take up the exam.
6. After the registration is complete, the candidates can take up a Mock exam by using the user id and password. This is to ensure that the candidates familiarize with the online exam pattern and overcome technical issues in the computers they use.
7. The online exam will be conducted on November 20th Sunday between 10.00am-11.00am.
8. The language of the exam will be only in English.
9. The examination will consist of only multiple choice questions (MCQs). Candidates should click on their correct choice of answer. The syllabus for the exam will be General dentistry, UG level
10. A total of 60 questions should be answered within a time limit of 1 hour (60 seconds per question).
11. Every RIGHT answer will be awarded 1 mark each. For every WRONG answer there will be a negative marking of 0.25. Unanswered questions will receive no marks.
12. Please note that only ONE question will be displayed on the computer screen at a time and the candidate CANNOT go back to the previous question once the time limit is reached.
13. The final marks obtained will NOT be displayed on the screen after the completion of the test. The results along with the answer keys will be intimated to the candidate via e-mail.
14. Kindly avoid minimizing the browser, clicking refresh tab or running multiple applications during the exam which may affect the server causing grievances during the exam session.
15. In the rare and unlikely event of a technical failure or power failure during the exam, candidate should log in again to start the exam from the question they had attended last.

ELIGIBILITY: BDS Graduates or MDS Graduates.

1. Candidates who have passed BDS from a Dental College/ University recognized by Dental Council of India.
2. Indian students who have studied in foreign countries and passed Dental Degree Course are eligible to join Fellowship in Dental Implantology provided they produce the following Certificates.
   1. The Equivalency Certificate issued by the DCI / Government of India.
   2. Registration Certificate issued by the respective State Dental Council.
3. Foreign nationals who have studied in foreign countries and passed Dental Degree Course are also eligible to join Fellowship in Dental Implantology provided they produce the following Certificates.
   1. The Equivalency Certificate issued by the DCI / Government of India.
   2. Temporary Registration Certificate issued by the Dental Council of India, New Delhi.

PREREQUISITES: 4 Passport Size Photos in formal attire, One set of UG/PG Certificates photocopies, Degree Certificate, Mark Sheets, Identity Proof

DURATION OF THE COURSE: Duration for the Fellowship in Dental Implantology course is One year, starting from October 2016.
