Prof KKR is a father of Otolaryngolgy in teaching and training for postgraduate and undergraduates for many decades. He has given his life for the treatment of poor and underprivileged. My recent visit to the Chennai Otology meeting in November 2014 witnessed the continuing legacy taken over by Prof Ravi Ramalingjam in carrying forward the vision of his father for the next generation. I wish Professor KKR a long life and good health to continue his outstanding work and congratulate Prof Ravi Ramalingam for continuing the dream, serving the poor and the needy
