Course Description:

The Essential Guide for all Dental Students, Trainees, and Practitioners.

THE PROGRAM AN OVERVIEW:

Infection control has become an essential part of our dental office. With the chances of spread of infection from the dental office increasing in a rapid way it becomes essential for the dentist to follow the infection control procedures thoroughly. Not only the patients but the dentist and dental assistants are also more prone for such infections. This lecture will take you through the recent protocols for effective infection control and the concepts of IMS = Instrument Management System, Will be give all practical tips to make easy to incorporate in his / her practice.

• The Operation Theatre functions between 7am to 12 noon (approx) daily.
• There is an average of 10 to 15 operations every day.
• You will be in the theatre everyday between 7am to 12 noon (approx) (from Monday to Saturday)
• You will be able to observe and you will eventually assist various procedures.
• There will be no formal hands-on surgical training, however, during this time you will be allowed to perform some steps under supervision.
• After the operation theatre is complete, you will spend a few hours at the Temporal Bone Laboratory.

• Cases done in various clinical situations-implants, natural dentition, combination of natural teeth and fixed implant restorations, natural dentition and removable implant prostheses will be shown

GROUP HANDS ON:

1- Charting observations, analyzing smiles and chalking out treatment plans for 2 cases
