Varun Dental Centre ( VDC ) is one of Chennai’s trusted ‘Family Dental Care Centre’ for over a decade now. Located on the serene coastal area of Palavakkam, just off the famous East Coast Road ( ECR ) about 700 metres from the Bay of Bengal coastline. Founded by the dedicated surgeon couples, Dr Sathyabama and Dr Saravanan in 2002, at a modest 400 sq.ft area in a first floor premise in the East Coast Road, we are currently housed at a state of art 3000 sq.ft facility with five individual operating rooms. The area itself is one of the most peaceful part of Chennai with a nature surrounding tranquillity of VGP layout just off ECR. Both the founder surgeons had their basic qualification ( BDS ) from the prestigious Madras Dental College ( Part of Madras Medical College ) way back in 1990. Subsequently they did their post graduation and training in the United Kingdom. Both the founders are proud holders of the degree FDSRCS in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons of England, London. We are proud of the fact that the founders are one of the few handful of surgeons who hold this prestigious degree. In addition the founders are probably the ONLY couples who hold this degree. Our Centre is equipped with all ‘state of art’ technology which is delivered in a serene familial environment. Though a strict aseptic protocol is followed at all stages at our centre, one would be pleasantly surprised by the absence of the intimidating hospital environment.
