Malligai Dental Academy is an ISO 2001:2008 certified organization which is affiliated to ICOI [INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS OF ORAL IMPLANTOLOGISTS, USA]. The only world's largest dental implant organization, but it is also the world's largest provider of continuing dental implant education. Malligai Dental Academy is the brain child of Major Dr. J. Pravin Prathip, an ex Indian Army Dental Corps Officer.

Due to lack of definitive implantology training at recognized institutions in India, Major Dr.Pravin decided also to bridge the academic advances and the clinical practice for practitioners who do not find enough time or opportunity to remain updated with rapid advancements.

Major Dr. J. Pravin Prathip is known very well among the dental fraternity. He has been in active dental training both in Indian army do in civil practice for more than 15years.he has worked in four of the most important divisions of the Indian army as dental officer. In the rank of lieutenant, captain and major. He has served in OPRAKSHAK, and in OPRHINO in Jammu & Kashmir. He has served under many prestigious awarded officers of Indian army. His active and illustrious career in the Indian army has helped him recognise the needs in this field.
