Dr. Hemamalathi, M.D.S., (Endo)

Dr. S. Hemamalathi is the co-founder and director of the Academy of Advanced Dentistry. She graduated from the Tamil Nadu Government Dental College in the year 1996 and acquired her masters in Endodontics in 2001 from the Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R Medical University.

She was the university topper in the postgraduate exams and was conferred the Best Post Graduate Student award by the Indian Endodontic society. She is the recipient of the prestigious Dr. T. D. Chugh award for the best scientific paper. She is currently working as Professor in the Department of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics, Meenakshi Ammal Dental College and Hospital, where she has been actively training postgraduates and under graduates since 2001. She is a vivid researcher and has 6 best paper awards and more than 18 national and 5 international publications. She is also involved in active coaching of BDS gradutes for the All India and Tamil Nadu MDS entrance exams.

Dr. S. Hemamalathi is a member of the Federation of Operative Dentistry and the Indian Endodontic Society, Indian Dental Association and the Indian Society for Dental Research.

She has lectured in many national conferences. She is the co- founder of the Smile and Glow Dental Healthcare Pvt. Ltd. The clinical expertise which runs a span of 16 years has no doubt given her a strong foot hold in the field of dentistry which she passionately carries out.
